Dialect coaching entails preparing the actor to speak in the vernacular specific to the region or country of the character. The responsibility of the coach is to be knowledgable about the rules and ethics of the actor's job, so as to reassure both the actor and director in their respective roles.
Career development coaching helps actors move forward in their career, based on their individual goals and aspirations. The coach shares their expert knowledge of the entertainment industry and collaborates with the actor to define a specific and personalized plan of action, establishing short and long-term individual career goals. The coach then regularly monitors the progress of the plan, and determines how to overcome whatever challenges are encountered.
